Elizabeth Voight 2018 Pennsylvania State Fair Queen On July 30, I had the opportunity to attend the Schuylkill County Fair!  I enjoyed helping and speaking at the Fair Queen Contest.  It was awesome to meet and talk to all the young ladies!  I loved catching up with The 2017 Schuylkill County Fair Queen (Emily Witmier) and The 2017 Union County WestEnd Fair Queen (Tricia Lloyd).  Then, I was given a tour of the fair by Schuylkill County Commissioner Mr. George F. Halcovage, JR.  Later in the tour I was joined by Secretary Russell Reading!  I ended the night helping crown the 2018 Schuylkill County Fair Queen, the Schuylkill County Fair Princess, as well as the Schuylkill County Fair Little Miss.  Congratulations to all the girls!  I met so many new people and I couldn't be any more thankful for this wonderful opportunity of serving my state!  Thank you Schuylkill County Fair for being so hospitable and for making this fair possible!  

Elizabeth Voight 2018 Pennsylvania State Fair Queen On July 28, I attended my fourth fair which was the Kimberton Community Fair!  I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know the newly crowned 2018 Kimberton Community Fair Queen Ms. Dana Moore as well as the 2018 Kimberton Fair Little Miss!  I then enjoyed judging babies!  Which was so hard to do!  All of the babies had contagious smiles that just melted my heart.  We judged the babies on appearance, contentment, personality, and interaction.  Baby judging was certainly an awesome experience!  Then, I was honored to be able to take a bite of Kimberton's FAMOUS Donuts!  They were certainly delicious.  Loved meeting the volunteers who helped to make the donuts!  Saw some familiar faces and enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Dobson, Mr. Gary Moore and many others.  Thank you Kimberton Community Fair for sharing your delicious donuts with me and for being so welcoming!

Elizabeth Voight 2018 Pennsylvania State Fair Queen This past week, I had a blast at the Lebanon Area Fair!  Earlier in the week I had the pleasure to help run the queen contest.  I then, gave my farewell speech and crowned the next lucky queen!  Congratulations to Ms. Harper Sellers (The 2018 Alternate Fair Queen) and to Ms. Madison Hetrick (The 2018 Lebanon Area Fair Queen).  I know you will have an amazing year filled with lots of fun!  Then, I helped pass ribbons out at the goat show on Sunday.  On Friday, I had a blast taking pictures with the Champion and Reserve Champion steers, hogs, and lambs at the sale!  Thank you to the Lebanon Area Fair for being the first fair that I fell in love with at a very young age.  You have given me lasting friendships, lifelong skills, and unforgettable memories!
